IXOS has launched the XMI308 iPod travel "tube" speaker, featuring an aluminium speaker cabinet tube and two long-throw alloy drivers. The sideways-firing speakers should deliver a large sound and the unit is ideal for travelling.
Features include 2 x 2W output, frequency range of 150Hz to 18kHz, electronic volume control, compatibility with most iPods including the new Nano, Touch, and Classic, plus line-in for connection to other MP3 players or laptops.
It can be powered by four AAA batteries, USB power lead from a PC, or 6V DC power adaptor, and comes in metallic silver, pink, or black finishes.
Priced at £25 and available now as part of the "First by IXOS" value range of electronic accessories.
