The Samsung’s F490 multimedia phone is a scoup for multimedia phone lovers. This iPhone lookalike is certainly packed with awesome features. This gadget from Samsung is 3G ready, HSDPA and EDGE enabled, tri band mobile flaunts a large 3.2 inch TFT touch screen display and sports a resolution of 240 x 432 pixels, which is still a bit short of Apple's created benchmark. But a standout feature is that it has 16:9 widescreen ratio, which makes it better in terms of watching videos. The feature that make this Samsung gizmo move ahead of Apple iPhone is that this 11.8mm slim bar is equipped with a 5 Mega pixel camera runing on the Croix UI (with no auto focus though), but very much records video in MPEG4 format with QVGA resolution at 15 frames per second. It also features Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, music player, a video player which playbacks WMV, MPEG4, H.263, H.264 file formats at 30fps in up to VGA resolution, 3.5mm audio jack, 130MB internal memory, USB 2.0 and support for compatible microSD cards. The touch screen display is also above average, the display actually is user friendly and lets the user know that selected options have been selected through the vibrating effect.Well, Samsung has leaped ahead with its F490 gadget giving Apple iPhone run for its money.
